Britt & Johnny--As it turns out, Batman's not in the tomb...he was presumed disintegrated, but actually he was teleported away and brainwashed into becoming a villain! Because imaginary story.

And title logos don't count...

Well, going by DC logic, I reckon this cover, from a year earlier, is the first with no Batman in the cover scene.
