I'm not sure why, but I kind of dig the FM boots Supergirl's wearing on that first page.

Great stuff, Snell. Geez, on that last page from the Super DC Giant, that shot of Supergirl's face in the lower right-hand corner loks more like Charro than Supergirl!

As for that dreadful Final Crisis cover (from an equally dreadful issue), what were they thinking? She looks like an air-headed teen on her cell phone.

De--that was her actual costume for about 5 minutes in the early 70's...but nobody could see to darw or color it right: the gloves all the way to the uniform sleeves, the red trim at the bottom of the tunic, the red choker, the gold braid holding the cape across her collarbone, the boots all the way up to...ahem. There had to be at least one rendering error per page with that costume, if not more.

Mark--well, she is a teen...Kryptonian, but still...
